I'm with ya. After the race, he was laying into me and I was trying to be the bigger man, polite and apologetic. He kept yelling at me so I had to get aggressive in stance until he finally backed down. I was ready to tee off on him though. As TenK mentioned, "this wasn't the world championships" and I actually told him "this wasn't the olympic trials!"
It was a very windy day, I was going for a PB, and wanted to draft. Big deal, right?
Drafting is a legal tactic in road racing. If you don't like it, either speed up or slow down to shake the person, or run a little side to side to confuse the person and make yourself less attractive, or quit doing road races.
The guy clearly had some issues.
