This is the kind of input I was looking for.
Pantethine looks interesting. Fitday shows my Panothenic acid is
about 400%

higher.

Pantethine is so safe and atoxic that even dialysis and hepatitis
patient improved on it with no adverse effects.
Pantothenic acid does not confer the benefits of pantethine, they are
not the same thing.

In the case of someone who had a FBG over 200, I wouldn't recommend too
much neglect of LDL or saturated dietary fat. Fat in the presence of
elevated glucose is damaging. There is some evidence that saturated
fat increases insulin resistance, too.
Pantethine isn't just a way to manipulate cholesterol, it's a way to
improve a fu*ked up metabolism.

Deciding to ignore high LDL, is in a way the same thing as deciding

Maybe, but I wouldn't gamble on it, given your lousy ratios, and likely
diabetes, which suggest that your metabolism isn't rendering it as
harmless as the next guy's metabolism, which shows far better results
on low carb/high fat.
I don't think your current regimen is the best for you, but that
opinion may be worth all it's costing you.
