Today I stood on the scale and I weighed 139 lbs -- I've
    dropped down
into the next set of ten!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! When
    I first
started Atkins, I never, EVER thought I'd see the 130's
    again --
hell, I never thought I'd see below 200 lbs again. Friday
    was my
50th birthday, and this is a GREAT present to myself!
    Only 14 more
to go to get to goal! About being 50 -- no real
    difference other
than that I am no longer in that coveted 18-49 age bracket
    :-)

    Well then, Happy Birthday!

Oh, and not too shabby on the weight loss front either my
    dear. Congratulations.

Thanks JJ! I'm on a little roll this week and am now down to an amzing
137! Patience and perseverence pays off, but only when my body is damn
good and ready :-) In the distant past I've seemed to have had a couple
of setpoints of 141 and 143 that my body settled into for long periods
of time. I'm wondering if it did it again for a while, but now that
I've gone below it it feels free to explore. The next setpoints (in the
past) that I remember was 133, then 128, so it will be interesting to
observe what happens when I get to those weights.

Be careful now, you're just gonna shrivel up and blow away
    ;-)

So far as patience perseverance go in terms of weight loss,
you have to be the most persistent person I know. Good job.

(BTW, I just noticed that I have had the date in my
signature as "February 18, 2004" for the longest time, since
February of this year as a matter of fact. But it wasn't
until today that I noticed it was wrong. It was this year,
2005. I'm not sure why I never noticed until today.)
