started Atkins, I never, EVER thought I'd see the 130's again -- hell, I
never thought I'd see below 200 lbs again. Friday was my 50th birthday,
and this is a GREAT present to myself! Only 14 more to go to get to
goal! About being 50 -- no real difference other than that I am no
longer in that coveted 18-49 age bracket :-)

The best part of being over fifty, Thaffy, is that you can get a fake ID
that qualifies you for Senior Citizen benifits!

Someone (I forget who) once said that the whole purpose of getting older is
so that you can go back to where you started. I won't get philosophical
about that, at least not tonight, but it sounded good to me!

BTW, who actually coveted that age bracket?

I'll just show them the newly wrinkly parts and that'll be all the ID
they need. I got a GREAT card from my sister. It had two babies
sitting in a big tin tub and they had their arms thrown in the air with
glee. Inside it said: "Remember when we thought upper-arm jiggle was
FUNNY?" I LOLed at THAT one :-)

Yeah, I've seen stuff about that. We start out kind of round, soft,
hairless and helpless, mature into distinctly female and male shapes,
and as we get older and older we go back to being soft, round, hairless
and helpless again. Ah, the cycle of life ...

Marketers. Maybe NOW they'll leave me alone :-)
