I've been nailed three times and I think it's finally starting to soak in:
Funny coincidence.... Just today I noticed a different sound when applying the front brake. Stopped immediately, fooled around for awhile; started to get back on; a little voice said "yer gonna be soooorrrrrrryyyyyy..."; didn't get back on; kept looking...remembered a previous post in this NG about wiggling the wheels before riding; found the front skewer had come loose.
