  1. I don't take calcium on the assumption that I get enough from my diet
(I eat some dairy every day, mostly raw milk cheese and other fermented
dairy, and lots of green veggies), I take 300-400 mg of magnesium every
day. From what I've read most people are very deficient in magnesium
and excessive in calcium. Plus I thought calcium and magnesium competed
with each other for uptake, thus I never saw the logic in combining
    them in a supplement?

Nonetheless I am open to experimenting, I'll try that, extra daytime
    magnesium, can't hurt...

I've been eating "wrong" for 35 years, can't expect to get this all
    perfect in 3 months, right?

That's very interesting, thanx for the info! I will get that
supplement and try it out. I am becoming more convinced that it is a
monitor and/or eye thing, the more I think about it. I do have a flat
screen, but it is pretty small, I'm on it all day, and this room is lit
by flourescents with little to no natural light. I will test both
theories and check back soon. I will call my lovely hmo doc and
schedule an eye exam tomorrow... and go to Lassen's in search of thd
    cal/mag/phos supplement tonite.

Best of luck, and keep us posted! ;-)

    Cheers!
