There's more than one statement that it might be. Only Jan knows which one is the statement she alleges to be a LIE. I don't consider any of them to be a false statement, much less a LIE.
If I were to pick one, Jan might claim that it was some other statement that is a LIE. I don't want to leave her that much weasel room. I want to see just exactly which statement she claims to be a LIE.
But of course, she won't do that. Any statement she could pick would be obviously NOT a LIE. And then, it would be obvious who has been LYING all along. The real LIAR here is the one who has been making false accusations against me.
