Right pedal unscrews anti-clockwise, left pedal unscrews clockwise.
Pedals can be very tight so a long spanner may be required.

Stems with horizontal bolts at the back need these bolts to be loosened.
The headset will need readjusting when it comes to resetting the bars.
This is done via the vertical bolt when the side bolts are loose. See the
following instructions and practice first:

Stems with only a vertical bolt at the back need this one loosened, and no
headset adjustment is required. Some force on the bars may be required if
the stem has stuck a bit (common).
