    Correct. That would mean it's an older triple front derailleur. Current
    series is 7703 (for 10-speed).

    I think you're mistaken - there were no triple components in the 7400
    series.

    IIRC, the FD-7403 was the first generation of Dura-Ace FDs designed to
    work with STI shifters. Double only.

    I was thinking that right after I sent it. The first D/A triples I recall
    were the 9-speed, not 74xx series. Sigh. So much for naming conventions (or
    memory!). Thanks for spotting the error.
