I just modified the Wikipedia article consistent with what I wrote in the other message. As usual, after 2 minutes, someone deleted my changes and included a disparaging statement (that what I wrote was nonsense). I'm used to this, I have had my changes deleted in areas where I actually wrote the book on the subject.
I read Keith Code's motorcycle racing book and it seemed pretty good, though, as usual, he wasn't too good on the fine points, not being an engineer or scientist. On the other hand, I'm not sure how much good his bicycling book is.
