Of course YMMV and all that.

As I have mentioned before, If I were to race again(I'm not), in the
standard US crash fest called Crit racing, I would use a mix of
Centaur, Mirage and Veloce.
Centaur hubs, Veloce cogs and brakes(slid in blocks, orbit adjust),
Mirage everything else(ERGO converted to 10s)...
Works like Record, cheaper to replace if ya kill a rear der, for
instance, in the crash that's gonna happen.

In all fairness, you don't have to buy the shift disk and shift cam.
Neither do you need to pay anyone else to install it. I think that a
Veloce 10 lever will be more economical than the Mirage made-up 10.

I do/did it because I like the all black lever that doesn't show
scratches but does get shiny where handled...a patina.
