I got the same camera last week. I think I nearly ordered from the same
place as you, found the cheapest price, but just before confirming the
order I checked the terms and conditions for a change and spotted that they
didn't supply English instructions.

You could use the intervalometer to get a minute delay (and delete the
picture it takes immediately), but don't think you'd get the warning beeps
so might have to stay posed for a while to make sure the picture has been
taken.

Bringing up the photo on the display with the histogram turned on, the
camera shows overexposed areas as flashing. If the camera knows it is over
exposed, why doesn't it do something about it? (at least on fully auto).

I miss the cradle I have with my Finepix 6800Z - feels like a backward step
having to take the battery out to charge it and plug the camera in to
download.
