family? DD has a couple of very adorable cats. They are allowed to
wander over the counters at desire. I would not be able to tolerate
that but it's her kitchen not mine so I say nothing. Still it is
gross!
I have a cat. She does NOT jump up on counters (except in the
bathroom but not even that anymore since she got her own fountain.
She was just trying to drink from the running water). My oldest
brother had cats leaping on the kitchen counters, the dining table...
I was appalled.
Squirt bottles. But, my cat sort of arrived knowing it was a no-no. I
don't know how I got such a perfect cat. Just lucky, I guess. I *did* have
to train her to stay away from my birds. The squirt bottle and a stern "NO"
worked.
