Mine would fail miserably. I've never been a neatnik but I'm much more lax about it now than I ever was. If I don't stop and wipe up a spill immediately, it will sit there for a few days or a week and then need to be scrubbed off the stove-top.
I always find it humorous when I see scare stories about the number of bacteria in the household environment. If bacteria count were the sole criteria, your mouth would a far more dangerous place than your countertop. The count is higher there by several orders of magnitude.
