There's a BV GVBR bike parked outside my office building. (For any
    newbies, I'm in Qld.)

It truly is a monster... I know what you guys were talking about now! If
you moved to Qld, why would you bring it? Novelty value?

Its worse, they probably went on the ride to get the bicycle {:-(.

did you hang around and see if the riders were wearing their AFL short shorts as part of their homage to the sun and the seasonal migration to bananaland?...maybe the BVfreeby was a part of their sacrificial ritual to Sol, a devotion by the migrating cycolites on their annual "haj"-like trek to their seasonal divinity, hoping for a miracle in the sacred streetscapes of Brizzy, and it be turned into a Cecil Walker Tourer, or a DeRosa King !.....
