Hi Paulo,
Florian has beefed up the planetary carrier to address the problem. He
also has bigger axle bearings, which may be the thing that failed on
mine.
I am pretty tough on my equipment. I've broken several plastic seat
basis (muni and trials), the Scott Wallis "death grip" carbon fiber
handle (coker), several seat posts (trials), lots of spokes (trails,
muni, coker), bent hubs (KH24 - old steel frame and splined hub),
broken cranks (KH20 steel crank), bent cranks (steel, 125 and 150 mm -
coker riding offroad), untrue my wheels(muni, coker), broken lots of
pedals (muni, trials, coker). The only thing I haven't broken on a uni
has been the tire, rim, and frame.
I don't think there is a hurry to send in your hub to florian. You
should do it at some time, but you can get a lot of miles on it as-is.
Mine had 700 on it!
