Yes ..... after a month we finally got back out the boots and walking on the
South Downs. Various things happened over the last few weekends prevented
us from getting out. Anyway, yesterday was reasonable weather, although bit
cloudy, windy but stayed dry throughout. Walked from the Bat & Ball near
Hambledon village, close to where the game of cricket was first played on
Broadhalfpenny Down. Headed north using a combination of footpaths, farm
tracks and country lanes, making very pleasant walking. Good to see such
lush green countryside after the recent rains a week or so ago. Better day
today ..... but eh! can't grumble..
