has the rod in it) feels longer then the right. When I walk i have to
hobble (i know i broke a femur, who wouldn't?) but its not hobbling

is this an illusion that my body feels because of the rod, and
something it can get over in time?
I've seen femur roddings that were not aligned properly and they have
had to go back in to fix it. Usually the problem is with
internal/external rotation. I doubt that they would screw up a leg
length, but it's possible. Measure from your ASIS (point of bone on the
front of your pelvis) to your medial malleolus (inner ankle bone) on
both sides and compare.
