My other bike is a Fausto Coppi aluminium, the one I used today is a Van
Tuyl VT950 titanium.
Serves me right for asking. They both sound like top end bikes to me.But what do I know, riding a seven year old mountain bike with slicks?
Just for information, what's the difference between them? Apart from their
metallurgy.
Well, a reasonable amount; the VanTuyl is a top end bike with a Dura Ace
groupset and other nice bits, it's a 56cm frame which I bought second
hand for a good price.
The Coppi is a 58cm frame and being changed to an Ultegra groupset bit
by bit, month by month :-)
I generally use the Coppi for longer distances, 'cos I have more bottle
carriers on it.
