  1. After letting my Inner Drill Sergeant have a long holiday (and getting a
prescription for Wellbutrin), I'm back in the gym again after a year-plus
    layoff.

I've noticed I tend to lose a lot of power in my legs, and little in my
arms, i.e. I left off last time at a 140# bench, and picked up on 110#
immediately , but the bodyweight deads are just not even close to possible.

    Here's the whole drill:

Workouts are in the morning before 0700. Every other day, 80% 1RM
ass-to-grass squats, bench press, conventional deadlifts, and bent-over rows
until I don't think I have another rep in me. Once I reach 8 reps in all
sets, move the weight up 5%. If I can't do six reps, drop the weight to
    previous levels.

Two weeks of one set; two weeks of two sets. I'll evaluate progress from
    there.

Diet's getting better. I just got a juicer for nothing and make sure I've
got a minimum of three servings of veggies a day. I've been dosing up on
    orange protien shakes (16oz OJ, 4oz whey -- 580Kcal, 2g fat, 70g carbs, 2g
fiber, 64g protein) about a half-hour before the workout.

    Commentary? Ideas?

of that nature. There may be a connection but I can't say for sure."
