I dunno about "typical". I think typically people do the right thing, but we tend not to notice that.
I find that about 90% of drivers are willing to make some allowance, at least, for cyclists. Of the rest, only a few seem to deliberately cause me trouble. 4WDs are definitely the worst, followed by anything with the windows down and doof-doof pounding away.
