Now, what to do with the bag of frozen strawberries??

Well, in my house, they are purchased for Margaritas.
I know, I know strawberries are not in the original recipe.

Otherwise, how about breakfast slurpys? Or ice cream?

    Hooboy, that's a lotta margaritas-might have to have a party! (It's a
really big bag from Sam's) Ice cream could be good, too. I also
found a recipe for strawberry parfaits that sounds promising. Thanks
    for the suggestions!

You might try using the strawberries on a shortcake or instead of cherries
in a Black Forest Parfait sort of thing.

Also both excellent ideas, Jill! Why do I think I'm going to go from having
a surplus of these to needing more?GGG

I got this recipe from a Diabetic cookbook years ago. It's actually very
good and why not use strawberries?

    Black Forest Parfait

    2 cups cold 2% milk
    4 oz. lowfat cream cheese
1 envelope non-fat chocolate pudding mix
20 oz. lowfat cherry pie filling (okay, use frozen strawberries with the
juice, maybe add a little sugar to make a syrup)
A 15 oz. loaf Entemann's Chocolate loaf cake, cubed

Pour 1/2 cup of cold milk into a blender container. Add the cream cheese.
    Cover and blend until smooth. Add remaining cold milk and pudding mix;
    cover and blend until smooth.

Divide cake cubes among 12 parfait glasses. Spoon cherry filling
(strawberries) over the cake. Top with pudding mixture. Refrigerate

    until

Thanks, Jill, I'm sure I can work with this, and it sounds fantastic!
