Why would you purchase from a seller in Germany..??
There was a "cyclo" seller from Germany who had a fine track record with lots of sales of cool retro stuff. I don't know if there is any sort of a connection whatsoever. His ebay user name was <cyclo-24.de>
That ID comes up on an eBay search as "invalid". His website, <http://www.cyclo-24.de/>, is still up. I don't know if his "club" is still in operation.
It seemed to me that around the time I stopped seeing "cyclo-24", I started seeing "cyclo network". Again, I'm not in any way saying there is a connection, especially as cyclo-24 had either no or extremely small amounts of non-positive feedback. And again, item after item, cool rare stuff.
Anything else from me is guesswork. Anyone with info? --Tom Paterson

Well, FWIW, the "Cyclo-24" site seems to be the work of someone named Carsten Rehbein. The emails I received from "Cyclo Network" (before they stopped replying) were signed "Mathias".

Carsten Rehbein is a good person and honest businessman. I've purchased a number of NOS componentes from him - every transaction went real smooth.

The cyclo-24.de website bears the Rehbein name. I have an old email reply from a "question for seller" sent to the ebay seller "cyclo-24". I don't recall the signer's name, if any. I might be able to archive.

He presented himself as an enthusiast who was selling his extensive cycling collection to pay for other projects, including his website. I haven't seen anything before these bad feedbacks to contradict this.
Unfortunate turn of events, whatever the cause. I used to "search" him every week or so just to see what cool stuff he had for sale (lacking the climate-controlled barn behind the house). --TP
