I've been getting bouts of diarrhea lately. On and off. The only
thing I can think of that I've been eating more of is avocados.

I searched high and wide in google but see no references to that
(although the leaves and seeds are used to *treat* diarrhea).

Anyone else ever have this problem?

btw, long time no see guys! I see a few familiar faces. Very quick
    update:

I've decided that I need to get back to lower-carb again since I
gained at little too much weight and can't seem to lose it.

Which is very strange for me because I never had this problem before
the Type 1 diabetes (which was my original reason for going lo-carb)
    and more recently Hashimoto's disease (auto-immune hypothyroid--a
    second autoimmune disease!).

Oddly, I'm now, finally, at age 43, a **normal** woman! heh.

How much avocado do you eat at a time? As they are oily, they could
cause a bit of a problem if you are not used to them. What do you eat
them with? That could also be a clue. Separate them by themselves,
have some (when you have time for the experiment!) and eat some to see
    what happens . . .

  2. Try 1/2 and see. The other you can sprinkle with lemon and cover with
saran wrap. I have an avo tree and that is what we do - just scrape
the black oxidation off if you like - the lemon helps that problem.

Which makes me remember I have one to eat - I'll do it right now!

I eat a whole one mashed up with some garlic, lemon juice and salt.
My husband doesn't like avocados and they don't keep well, so I eat
    the whole thing.
