I like the chocolate peanut butter bars too. I order them online, and
with shipping it averages out to about $1.50 a bar. I know there are
those who won't touch them, but I can tell you that an Advantage bar
every now and then in the evening has saved me from falling off the
wagon more than once! When the family has ice cream, I break out an
Advantage bar. Sometimes I just cut one in half and save the other
half for another time.
I probably eat maybe 3 a week at most. I also keep them in my drawer
at work along with 2 oz. packages of macadamia nuts in case I get stuck
in meetings and don't get to eat lunch like I should.
I agree, some of the other flavors are scary. I started ordering them
online because the stores were always out of the choc/p-butter bars.
All the other flavors were in stock but I didn't like them.
No horror; just different preferences!

The chocolate peanut butter bars are the only Atkins ones that don't give
me horrible gas, cramps and the runs. I don't know what they've done
differently with that flavour. I only eat them maybe once every couple of
months when I can't have a proper meal and also have either macadamia nuts
or cashews with them.
I tried an Atkins granola bar the other day because they don't have any
sugar alcohols and it was pretty good, although a little too sweet. It was
the oat one.

I think getting good cheap flavors is very difficult. Most of the
flavors aren't very good.
