the limelight when that interview came out, and he was never a big name
even when he was a europro.
but being a fanboy you will always give the athlete the break and try
to blame fans, managers, doctors for the doping problem. both decanio
and spinelli say they were under pressure to dope, but they weren't
forced to. spinelli made the choice to dope on his own, and he did it
so that he could be a more successful rider.
There's plenty of blame to go around, and the athlete is definitely
responsible for their share of it, until recently teams that seemed to
have pushed organized doping weren't penalized in any way while their
riders were banned. It's about time, if we are even going to bother,
that everyone involved is held accountable not just the athletes.

That's messed up, especially considering how many people they are
clearing/reinstating after damaging them, but that's OK?
Justin races here in New England and was treated like [censored] by a large
portion of the racing community, luckily there are some good, fair
minded people who gave him another shot and helped him get going again.
You don't see me defending DeCanio because I'm not sure where the hell
he's coming from, but I'll keep cheering on Justin and the people who
gave him a hand up when he needed it.
