Quoted message said:G'day all and greetings from Sydney, Australia. I have recently begun
weight training (home gym equipment), but am having trouble settling into
a routine. I am a keen runner and jog 50-60 minutes every evening, which
is the only time I have to train. I have found that combining the running
with a split routine on the weights very tiring and too time-consuming. (I
don't want to cut back on the running)...So, Would training just one body
part each week be sufficient to increase muscle density ? eg:
Chest-Monday; Back-Tues; Shoulders-Wed; Legs-Thurs; Biceps-Fri;
Triceps-Sat and Core exercises 2 or 3 times thrown into the mix. This
routine would suit me fairly well but I'm not sure if it's the right way
to go and would appreciate any opinions.
The best routine is the one you do. When you say one body part each week do
you mean each day of the week? If you do then go for it.
