Same start as last Sunday's walk for Clare and I. This time we followed the
South Downs Way up to Lomer Farm, same as last week, but today continued on
the SDW (also the Wayfarer's Walk) from Lomer Farm up to Wind Farm. Headed
north from Wind Farm, still on the Wayfarer's Walk, over fields to the small
village of Kilmeston. Turned southeast across field paths and tracks back
to Warnford. Bit rough along some of the route down to Warnford, plenty of
nettles and overgrown paths. Not the best route in shorts .... as Clare and
I found out! Little road walk from Warnford up to the old Meon Valley rail
track, then joined the rail track for the final section back to Exton.
Excellent weather for the 10 mile outing.
Photos from along the route at web address below. Little under exposed some
photos, experimenting with the manual setting on my camera and not enough
time to correct all in PSP.
