Has anyone ever heard of this? Start losing weight, and the raging
    hornies begin?
This happens every single time I start losing weight -- big, big
increase in libido. To the point where it's actually a problem in
concentrating on routine things and getting through the day. I'm not
sure I can stand it anymore, but I'm also sick of trying to fix it by
overeating. It's getting me very very down and vulnerable. I am female,
    approx. 250 lbs, 5 ft 9 in, late 40s, ex-smoker 8 years, single, living
alone. Put aside the fact that my social situation could change if I
lose the weight -- I just need to get to that point first. But please,
can anyone give advice on getting through this process? Seriously, I'm
past the jokes about this, but I think I'd have weeping fits in the
doc's office if I tried to explain it and it amused him. what the hell
    is going on with me???

thanks, please be nice. If you can offer some actual helpful advice,
    that would be genuinely appreciated.

Increases in libido at your age are not unheard of in women.
The weight loss and the aging of the endocrine system
have tipped the balance in favor of higher relative
androgen levels. It is not unhealthy. If you are healthy
i.e. no arthritis, I'll suggest joining a gym and getting really fit.
You need to lose ~100 pounds for your health.
Work on the social situation along the way.
    Find situations around people
were you can size them up and develop friendships,
romantic relationships, contacts, etc. Don't forget
hobbies or perhaps finish a degree at College or
the University which often have inexpensive fitness
    centers/weight rooms for the enrolled.

One other thing, a man your age may have
a lower libido than earlier in life, so he won't
just interested in your form, he may
also be interested in your depth.
You may even have to feed some Cialis or
    Viagra.
