    Hi

Does anyone have any info' on any campsites at/near the foot of the Ben
Nevis 'tourist track' - price/night + latest time you can arrive?

1 campsite (good), 1 Youth Hostel (Glen Nevis YH) and 1 bunkhouse (Achintee
House). All near the footbridge at the start of the touristtrack.

A friend and I have an epic day planned - BN via Ledge Route then CMD
Arrete then Aonach Mor then Aonoch Beag - so need an early start as we
only have time for a mad dash from the Lakes.

If it all goes to plan then we will both be knackered and almost
certainly won't have had any summit views to speak of if past
experiences are anything to go by - been up BN about 25 times and only
had 1 clear summit view although this was marred by the fact that I had
dislocated my shoulder doing Tower Ridge - 1 armed crossing of Tower Gap
was very interesting! Sorry I digress!

I hope you know what you're doing.

PS: spelling of Scottish mountains is not my strong point.

Also - does anyone have any info' as to how I can get access to a site
that will allow me to post photographs on here - I've seen some
beatiful shots from other hikers/climbers and would like to share mine
    - although sadly they tend to feature my dog Arnie rather too much!

Just go to www.fotopic.net and join (250 mb for free).

Ooohya! A two armed crossing of Tower Gap is very interesting.
That must have been a glad its over moment
