Exactly! Pro *AND* con. Why do the pros want the debunkers to leave? Why
do they want to stifle free and open discourse?

    You didn't read it all.......again.

Pro & Con, you low-life, spamming, nuisance.

Pro and con...interesting. Since I started reading this group about 6
months ago, I have yet to see any real pro arguments. Anyone who dares
to suggest a possible therapy other than what is generally accepted in
the medical establishment gets shouted down or flamed. All I ever see
are rants about how this therapy is [censored], and this is just water, and
herbs don't work (if used the way they were first used, instead of
extracting out the active ingredient or not using the correct part of
the plant, they do work when used appropriately; St. John's wort will
not work for major depression, and, funnily enough, the same study that
showed that also showed that Zoloft won't, either). Anyone with
positive personal experience gets shouted down.

Eleuthero used appropriately makes me not feel as beaten down by my

No, but in response to prohibited activity like spamming, it is quite
justified. Oh, and which group spews all the bigotry? Why, its the pro-alts,
    of course!

There are very few pro-arguments. Most of the pro-alts just post things in an
attempt to bash conventional medicine. Few of these postings are for pro-alt
methods, just an attempt to discredit conventional medicine and science. A few
pro-alts actually try to talk sensibly about plausible modalities, but that is
very rare. Its almost always some MLM product or some voodoo method that has
    been thoroughly DEBUNKED.

Which therapy would you like to support that has been shouted down as [censored]?
Many of the MHA pro-science folk believe in massage, acupuncture, chiro, and
herbs for _Some_ things. They just don't abandon all knowledge, logic, reason,
and objectivity to jump on a new bandwagon or fad product every day.

    and this is just water,

Homeopathy _IS_ just water according to those who practice it.

Mainstream meds and techniques are not immune from the righteous scrutiny of
the MHA pro-science folk. Check the archives if you doubt me.

Anecdotes are given the consideration they are due, which is very little. The
plural of anecdote is NOT data. Most "personal experience" like low-life David
the MLM shill's "testimonial" are false and intended to fleece, not heal.
Herbalife, Seasilver, Noni, Stupid Blue-Green Algae, et al are for the
    credulous & scientifically illiterate.

Good for you. Got any alt-methods you'd like to discuss?

Well, there is another sane person here. I was about to assume that this
    newsgroup
was for the benefit of a handful of angry people looking for someone to
    flame,
name-call and abuse. I saw no sign of any discussion by these people just
    judge
    based on their.........?
