    I ordered this odd sized seatpost from yellowjersey.org last Friday.
    Arrived today (Thursday).
    $44.95 is the price on the website, + $22 (packing + 3-5 day parcel
    post delivery).

    It's a nice item, well made, plenty of length.
    Good quality clamp castings/bolt with fine "adjustment ridges" to alter
    the angle (which was my problem with the existing seatpost - couldn't
    get the angle I wanted), fairly light, nice matt polished finish on the
    post.
    Fits the bike perfectly - does exactly what is says on the tin!

    Lots of places "used to have them", or "can't get them anymore", or say
    "you'll never get one of those, but here's a new frame you might like
    to buy". These guys have them, don't gouge on the price, responded to
    emails promptly, and delivered the item as described and on time.

    Were you stung for duty? - I have been on several occasions when I've
    ordered stuff from the US. If not, then I may do as you have done. I
    still have the original Peugeot seta post but it isn't easy to adjusts
    and the bolts stick out from the sides now I have a new saddle

    Nope, seems to have come straight though - there was an invoice inside
    the packing, but I don't know if the packing had been opened or not.
    In any case, I don't think bother if the value is below a certain
    value, €55 springs to mind (I'm located in Republic of Ireland).

    I suppose there's a finite chance that a Invoice will follow from
    Customs, but it's never happened to me before, and I think that they'd
    hang on to the goods until I'd payed the duty anyway. I do know of
    people ordering higher value stuff (video games, computer parts etc.)
    from the US who've had them held that way until they'd payed the duty.

    There is a school of thought that if you can get the supplier to play
    ball, they can mark the invoice with the goods as "replacement under
    warranty" or similar, and this would not then attract the Customs bods.
    Don't know if this is true, certainly couldn't condone such
    shennanigans myself.

    All, some or none of this may be correct, and may or may not apply to
    the UK.
