    Wow, thanks for the memories. I, too, started on a mountain bike that
    I still use for commuting. The first time I wiped out I managed to
    wipe out twice on the same ride for the same reason. It was a warm
    summer evening and it started to sprinkle while I was out on the trail.
    Going around a bend my bike went out from under me as I learned the
    hard way just how slowly I had to take the corners: road rash on my
    left side.

    I kept going and about 2 miles later, went down again going around a
    bend: road rash on my right side. Talk about feeling stupid!

    A 15% jump is not bad at all. Enjoy!
