  1. I have a 2000 Rans Tailwind that I ordered a new tire for. The stock mount was a Primo Comet 20x1.35
(100 psi). The only thing that the Rans website shows now is a Primo Comet 20x1.5, which is what
they sent me. Does anyone know if that larger size will fit? I also called the nearest Rans dealer
(who deals in Rans as a sideline) who claimed that it will work, but I'd like to be sure.

    Thanks, Jim

    Jim,

The Primo Comet 20 x 1.5 should work just fine. I purchased a Tailwind back in December - it came
stock with the 20 x 1.5's. You may find the 1.5's to be a little more "sure-footed" than the 1.35's.

    Happy riding,

    LeRoy

1.5 will fit fine on the stock Alex rim - I ran 1.75 Avocets with no problem.
