  1. I test rode a Rocket a few weeks ago and the handlebars
were too short. They hit my knees. They also had a
V-Rex and those handlebars were fine. Different riser
lengths? (I was in a hurry...didn't look). Dealer said
(on the phone) the riser doesn't telescope. Will I have to
    get a different riser?

    thanks

  2. Isn't there some "play" in the head tube insert so that you can raise and
lower it a bit either by loosening the sleeve and sliding the riser up or
adjusting a cammed bolt assembly? There have been a number of different
systems, and I no longer know exactly how the Rex is set up. I also quit
using the hinged system a long time ago, and have a Bachetta riser and bars
on my V-Rex. Still have the old riser, bars and hinged connector though.
(They called it a "flip-it" or something.)

If the bike is new enough to have a flip-it, there are two pinch bolts on a
collar above the flip-it that telescopes the riser. Just make sure to loosen
the cable clamps on the front derr. as extending the riser will need some
    slack there.

You might have to get a different dealer.
