Got a birthday coming up and have been dropping hints to SWMBO lately about various little pieces of bicycle goodness that would be appreciated if they came my way. A Park truing stand was mentioned.
"A what?" was the reply.
"A Park Truing stand - for straightening my wheels", I replied.
"Phew! You spend too much time with that bike. I think that you like it more than me. I suppose with a 'truing' stand you'll spend more time polishing it's nuts or something, won't you?"
"No," I replied," I'd be able to tweak it's nipples"

Gah. I'm so jealous. It's just about impossible to convince my husband to divulge any gift ideas ... so he's not getting anything this year. I even told him as much -- "If you don't give me some idea of what you want, you're not getting anything!" -- with no luck.
Of course, I know he's going to whine anyway.
