i want to buy a bike to ride to work about 6 miles round trip. few sidewalks, mainly shoulder riding and even a little in the road. i wanted to spend $250-300. I found a Raleigh Venture 3.0 for $280 that seemed pretty good for what i am looking for. any other suggestions in that price range? i saw some cheaper bikes at Meijer and other big sporting goods stores, but this one seemed a lot nicer even though a little more expensive.
