  1. Does anyone out there currently race on the Raleigh "Team" bike?

Locally here in Colorado I know that they sponsor the Spike team in the Springs, and I think some of their riders race on it.

It looks like the 06 model came with great wheels (Ksyr SL) and components (DA 10).

I am in the market for a new race bike and am wondering if the 07 version of the Raleigh Team is going to be a good choice in a new race bike.

I race mostly crits and road races, so I am looking for something that is going to be a stiff frame when out of the saddle sprinting and climbing.

I raced the last 2 seasons on scandium aluminum bikes, so switching to carbon would be a big change for me.

The main reason I am considering the Raleigh is that I want a good race bike with nice components and wheels in the $2k-$3k range.

  2. I don't race, but I have a 2003 Professional (nivacrom steel, carbon fork) that I just love.

Raleigh is making some damn good bikes these days. I don't think you can go wrong for the price.
