Almost all the cyclists came across badly, apart from one who just sounded
strange. The CTC bloke did brilliantly. I especially liked the way he
prevented the DJ getting a word in so they couldn't put any more idiots on.
Anyone else think he did great, or was it the other callers making him look
good?[1]
Mark.
[1] Noticed Martin was careful not to let on what he thought... any
connection with the ctc?

Agreed ................ one thing I wanted to question (and obviously
I can't) is the 'caller' read out by Vine, that said something along
the lines of 'My wife had received a serious neck injury, due to the
fact that a cyclist was repairing his bike on a blind bend.
Now forgive me if I am being thick here, but either the cyclist
somehow attacked this woman, OR I assume, she crashed the car due to
the 'unexpected' cyclist being there. Is that not the DRIVERS
reponsibility to proceed with caution around a blind bend ??
Could have been a broken down car/bus, a pedestrian walking, a fallen
tree ............ WHERE does the cyclist fit into this, and how has
the cyclist contributed to the injury ????
Sigh

Oh, and I forgot to mention the CO2 pollution issue, the fact that I
am contributing to the greenhouse effect by my heavy breathing, what a
cracking statement, handled poorly by the cycling representative who
should have torn the idiot to shreds.
Double Sigh
