Rad-loc hinge failure

  1. There was a thread on the failure of the rad-loc seat hinge here several months ago. This happened
    to me this week. I fully expect that RANS will fix the problem, that much I'm not worried about.
    RANS is a fine company and has always stood behind their products in the past.

    It did make me think more about something I've considering for a while.I have been thinking about
    putting a hard shell carbon seat, specifically the ones that Hostel SHoppe uses for their bents, on
    my '02 V2. Anyone ever tried this?

  3. Paul, what model and year of bike did the hinge fail on, I thought this was a problem on the initial
    year they offered it in 01 I believe, I hope they have it straightened out by now.

  4. My V2 might be an '01. It was on the show room for a long time before I bought it.
