Racing in Florida

Hey guys. I will be shortly moving to Port Charlotte, Florida. I am wondering in any one knows if there is many teams or races around there, am i right in saying alot of crits happen over in FL? Just wanting to know what sort of racing and teams are around in the area i will be moving to. Can any one help? Cheers Darren.
