So, I've had a look at the RaceDay v2 preview at [ame]
]
It seems like they have made some majors upgrades, allowing coach/athlete interaction via a server system, as well as combined analysis of multisports (swimming, cycling & running), etc. Woth a look-see.
While targeted toward the triathlete, even though quite useful to the cyclist, I find the ability to predict performance very desirable. As pointed out in the WKO+ v3 anouncement thread, this is still something lacking in WKO+. WKO+ is clearly cycling focused, with RD having some automated power capability using a GPS for running, as well manual power capabilities with swimming.
Not intending to start a p*ssing match between RD & WKO+ adherents, how do folks compare and contrast the two by both theory, application and utility? It seems WKO+ has the lead in marketing, but they both appear to trace back 5-6+ years ago in scientific basis (based on publically availabe information, symposium abstracts, etc), so I don't see RD being a spin-off from WKO+.
The best of all worlds seems to be both right now.
