  1. I normally use my Newbalance 991's when running races.
Should I get a pair of racing flats though? Any
    recommendations

How fast do you run ? A pair of lightweight trainers or
    racers would probably be appropriate.

Off the top of my head:

stability trainers: NB 900, Asics DS Trainer stability
    flats: Asics DS Racer

What distances are the shoes for? (e.g., 5k, 5-mile, 10k,
    10-mile, 1/2-M, Marathon?)

What pace(s) do you expect to be running?

    What is your weight?

Do you have anything unusual about your gait or form?

Are your races all road races, or otherwise?

I have the Asics DS Racers. I like them, and I overpronate,
so they are stable. I have worn them for 5K-10K races, and
doing speed work in training. Good shoes.
