Quote of the day (from non-riders)

I was racing my 29er to buy candy last night, closing in a few minutes i
had quite a hurry.. it was snowing and i was going stright against the
wind, making it quite hard to ride, especially when there was piles of
snow on the ground.

Meeting a old couple.. the woman was like "Did you see that? Dangerus!"
the man answered "Looked more slippery than dangerus to me!"

And i got there in time! Whey!

You should be able to juggle while riding.
Start with balls.

Them: "Is that a 10 speed?"
Me: "no, it's a single speed" as I approach the hill on my Coker.
Me: struggling a little to reach the top, "I wish I had a few
speeds"
Them: "yeah, I'll bet."

That and "Awesome bicycle!" from some kid.

Got a standing ovation from a bunch of high school kids.

Kind of stupid since all I was doing was riding along the sidewalk.

So I got another round of applause when I hopped a curb.

Twenty minutes later, I'm on my way home again, already past the school
this time and I hear a voice far, far in the distance behind me...

"hey! hey! don't fall down!"

Kid was probably in detention for being dumb.

I've always found clubs easier. The problem with balls is that I'm
never sure which end to catch. (Seriously, though, clubs are easier to
catch because they're bigger and because my hands close round them much
more easily, leaving more room for error in pre-catch hand positioning).

I also find it easier to juggle while bunnyhopping than while riding.
It's easier to perform two rhythmic activities if both have the same
rhythm. I find it easier to hop at a comfortable juggling rhythm than
to pedal at a comfortable juggling rhythm.

:D

I always say "ofcourse I will, I'm riding a unicycle".
But I am afraid of turning to smile at people who make positive
comments, only to land a faceplant immediately.
