and care to share their experiences?I've been on two in Leicestershire. They were nice to cycle along but
nothing special. Road surface was typical of a country road, there was
a normal number of cars for a small country road and they travelled at
a speed you would expect for the conditions.
Cars didn't try to force their way past cyclists as they sometimes do
on other country lanes which is a nice change.peter

ThanksLoads of them round near where I live (South Oxon). Although there are
certainly fewer cars than on the main roads, those that do use these lanes
seem to be anything but 'quiet' and are usually of the four-wheeled tank
kind. I have been run off the road coming down a 'quiet' hill at speed
before now. Road surfaces are usually very poor as well, but the district
council have recently been down a few spraying white paint round the worst
potholes.
