  1. Anyone got any views?

    I'm worried that this is a way for highways authorities to not bother maintaining and cutting the
    hedges - but maybe I'm just too cynical.

    I understood that it's the hedge owner who has to keep his hedge cut. Hence the regular cursing of
    farmers who leave hawthorn spikes all over the road at the end of the job.
