  1. hey all,

    want to find a few more routines to improve quick (twitch) muscles.
    for instance, for quick steps (footwork), i found that the ladder (like
    a ladder lying on the ground) is working pretty -- particularly when
    varying foot patterns, switching legs, etc... but while keeping the
    basic concept (speed) same.

    any such ideas that will do the same for my upper body? particularly
    the (upward) motion in a jumping jack. any other info on how to
    improve quick twitch muscles would also be appreciative. thanks;

    adam.

    Ladders improve motor skills - they really don't build fast twitch
    muscle much (if at all).

    Motor skills development is specific to the task. You could do a
    punching bag with colored dots and hit sequences and get much the same
    effect on motor skills as ladders.

    I like a double ended speed bag for upper body. Everlast makes the one I
    had. I wish I still had it...
