Quick release skewer front wheel

Yeah, ya need a hollow axel,that is the correct length and same diameter as your solid one.

Try going to your LBS...If you're lucky, they'll have hollow axels for about a buck. And you're probly going to need wheel spanners to do the job correctly. Axel replacements can get messy with all the bearings inside the wheel hub. But since you'll have the hubs apart anyway, this would be a good time to repack the hubs with grease. Good luck.
