    Flax Seed Bread

    Recipe for bread machine Before using, first grind the flax
    seed in a spice/coffee grinder, processor or blender to a
    granular consistency to release its inner phytonutrients.

    1 1/3 cups water 2 tablespoons canola oil 3 tablespoons
    honey 1 1/2 cups white bread flour 1 1/3 cups whole wheat
    bread flour
    1/2 cup flax seed, coarsely ground 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 2
    teaspoons active dry yeast

    Add ingredients to bread machine pan according to
    manufacturers directions. Select Basic White cycle and press
    Start. Makes one 1 1/2 pound loaf.

    Country Seed Bread

    Recipe for bread machine.

    2/4 cup water 4 teaspoons honey 4 teaspoons canola oil
    3/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/3 cups bread flour
    4/3 cup whole wheat flour 3 tablespoons flax seed 4
    teaspoons sesame seeds 2 teaspoons poppy seeds 1 1/4
    teaspoons active dry yeast

    Toast seeds on a baking sheet in a 350*F (175*C) oven for 4
    minutes; let cool completely. This step is optional. The
    seeds can be added untoasted. Place ingredients in the
    bread machine pan in the order suggested by the
    manufacturer. Select Basic setting and start machine. Makes
    one 1-pound loaf.
