Can anyone tell me anything about CoEnzyme Q10? I only just recently just learned of it. Is it a
vitamin or herb or what? Is it safe to take with heart medications? Just curious.
Thanks! Me

It is not herb but rather an antioxidant that in some studies have been shown to help the heart.
Some other nutrients for the heart are Vitamin E, Grape Skin/Seed Extract, Red Wine Extract, Green
Tea, and Lycopene.
If you are on any meds, you should always consult with your doc about taking supplements.

From what I've read of CoEnzyme Q-10, it seems to be safe to take with heart medication.
"Coenzyme Q-10 may be particularly helpful in treating congestive heart failure (CHF) along with
conventional medications." -- Quote from glycoscience.comstart frames.wmOpen ↗
